Seed of consistent quality needs facilities designed for it, from the research field to the warehouse.
Breeding and trial fields
Research farms provide the isolation that hybrid breeding depends on, with protected structures for crossing work and open fields for evaluation. Trial sites across growing regions test varieties where they will be grown.
Processing
Harvested seed is cleaned, graded and dried in a dedicated processing facility. Grading removes undersized and damaged seed; controlled drying brings each lot to safe moisture before storage.
Storage and dispatch
Finished seed is held in temperature- and humidity-controlled storage, sampled and tested, and packed in moisture-proof packaging for dispatch to dealers ahead of each sowing season.
